How I Started Doing Property Rental Deals

I approach the next property deals with similar strategy and tactics. Then come the next owner who puts up his ads on the same notice board, that his apartment is up for rent. I contacted the owner , gets his permission and i re-advertised the same ads. Of course mine was designed and presented much better, with nicer pictures and careful wordings with some captions and all that. 

Then came the calls one after another. At that time, there are no filterations of who is the prospect tenant is calling. At that time, everyone considered good potentials. This is what i learned along the way, which ill explain and talk about in next stories. Coming back to this prospect, he asked me the units details and after a brief chat. The prospect decided to view the unit. 

The same arrangement i did with the property owner, we went and saw the unit. The unit was very basic and normal. No renovation, nothing fancy but with just some basic furnitures and fittings. The prospect tenant liked it and confirmed taking the unit. 

The next day, the prospect tenant paid the booking and signed the Tenancy Agreement. The tenant stayed there for a good 5 years before he moved out to his own double storey house somewhere nearby.

The completion period to close a rental property deals and receiving the commissions are much faster than subsales, this is how i started to close many property rental deals along the journey.
