It’s a Lonely Road – Property Agent’s Life.

Most real estate agents and realtors are solopreneurs. They handle their own operations and keep moving forward. A few of them have a small team, and some may work in pairs.

Unless you are the principal or the owner of an agency, you might be managing hundreds, if not thousands, of agents under your leadership. What I’m referring to here are the individual agents and realtors who do the grinding—finding listings and generating leads from them, which leads to quality prospects viewing the listed properties and potentially closing a deal.

The journey can be lonely at times. Knowing what to do, where to find listings, how to discover them, how to contact property owners, getting the listing, and pushing the property along the way can feel like a repetitive task. But here’s the thing: doing them day in and day out, honing those skills, mastering the scripts, and perfecting the art of repeating the same routine every day for days, weeks, months, and years will make you a master and an authority in your field.

Take, for example, a tennis pro like Maria or the Williams sisters. Their job is to hit the tennis ball, and practicing this for years is what makes them champions in their field.

To keep going, to maintain momentum and stability in this industry, I work out two to three times a week, eat well, get enough sleep, and ensure I avoid trivial distractions. The amount of time I spend on social media is very minimal. I carefully select the kind of content I watch and read, knowing that not all things are important to know, let alone whether they will bring any benefit.

As lonely as it gets sometimes, it is important to take care of my mental strength, fitness, and durability to withstand any challenges that come along. It can be tiring, but I keep pressing on through the dark and ruins.
